OpenCode Privacy Policy

Last updated January 14, 2026

OpenCode is a local-first, open-source coding agent. The OpenCode website may use minimal analytics to understand usage and keep the experience reliable.

1. Local-First Usage

OpenCode runs on your machine and does not store your code or context data by default. If you enable share links, session history is synced so it can be viewed in a browser.

2. Site Analytics

We collect basic, aggregated metrics (such as page views and performance events) to improve the site. We do not sell personal data.

3. Third-Party Providers

If you connect external model providers, their services may process requests under their own privacy policies. Review provider terms before sharing sensitive data.

4. Your Choices

Keep secrets out of prompts, and use local models or secure providers when handling sensitive workflows.
